(*Hours may be reduced when no visitors are in the building. For examples a late opening and/or early closing)
Lodging Options
Trippet Hall – 18 Rooms (all rooms have one bed)
- We have 2 rooms with King size beds and 16 rooms with Queen size beds
- 9 rooms are on the 2nd/main level,
- 9 rooms + Clifford Lounge are on the 3rd level (both rooms w/king beds are on this level)
- 2 of the rooms with Queen size beds are ADA compliant rooms. One room is located on the 2nd/main level and the other on 3rd.
- 2 ADA rooms also have small refrigerators.
- Rooms include the typical hotel amenities: linens, soaps, etc.
Caleb Mills House – 2 Rooms (+ 1st floor living room/meeting area, kitchen & patio)
- Frank Hugh Sparks Bedroom- 1 Queen bed, couch, and vanity room
- Caleb Mills Bedroom – 2 Queen beds with couch
- Both rooms are:
- on the 2nd floor, with no elevator
- include the typical hotel amenities: linens, soaps, etc.
Other lodging options may be available for long-term visits.
When Trippet and Caleb Mills are booked, outside hotels can be used. Please contact the Travel Coordinator or Trippet Manager for assistance.
Charges
Wabash/Grant Sponsored Events
(account number needs to be provided when registering)
$125/night
Non-Sponsored Events (self-pay)
(preferably by credit card at check-in)
$125/night + 7% Indiana Sales Tax and 3% innkeepers’ tax
All Trippet guests’ stays must be Wabash-affiliated in some capacity or approved by a senior staff member.
Weekly rate for Caleb Mills (non-conference & authorized by President or Dean of College) = $100/night. For self-pay (non-College sponsored stay), a 7% sales tax and 3% Innkeepers tax is added.
Policies
- All food in Trippet and Caleb Mills MUST be catered by Bon Appétit Catering.
- Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted in Trippet OR Caleb Mills.
- Trippet does not offer room service.
- Snacks/drinks can be set up in Clifford Lounge upon request and billed through catering.
- Transportation to and from campus will need to be handled by Motor pool.
Process for reserving lodging

- Reservation requests should be submitted no less than three business days prior to the arrival date.
- When making the reservation, you will need:
- a budget number for charges if selecting “Bill to Account” for Billing Type (if Self-Pay, please be prepared to pay with a credit card),
- names of guests, and
- dates of stay. If possible, please provide arrival & departure times.
- Once the request has been received, the host will receive a confirmation email stating that the reservation has been approved if lodging is available for that time frame.
- If the Guest’s email is provided, the Guest can also receive a confirmation email. Their email will provide information on dates of stay, cost (if self-pay), and information on the check-in process.
Check-In process
Between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm*, there will be a staff member at the front desk of Trippet Hall to assist with check‐in for both Trippet and Caleb Mills.
If the front desk is closed, the guest or host will need to call security (765‐361‐6000) for access to the building. Security will assist with the check‐in process and direct guests to their rooms. Contact trippet@wabash.edu or call x6490 if you would like to discuss other options for check‐ins.
All guests will receive a folder upon check‐in with their keys. The folder will also include campus information such as a campus map, amenity hours, and information about Crawfordsville. The guest’s room key functions as a pass permitting use of the Lilly Library and the facilities of the Allen Athletic Center.
